Not sure about Tarot?
You might have some ideas about Tarot that make you feel nervous. Maybe you’ve seen a movie with some spooky stuff that happens when people read cards. Maybe the images alone have left you feeling unsettled (I mean, hello, the literal Devil is a card).
Here’s my take. I often use a pragmatic, though trauma-informed and spiritually connected approach to my readings. I like to talk about what the cards mean (i.e. different interpretations), what the archetypes represent and point out the imagery inherent in the cards. You use that information to help connect the dots and feel grounded and validated. One of the biggest responses I get after a reading is: “I feel so seen!”
I encourage your input throughout the reading. You get to decide how you want to interpret your experience.
The cards can be seen as magical, or as rectangular pieces of paper with pictures on them. That’s the beauty of it - it is what you make of it, what you are most comfortable with, and each reading is unique.

What is Tarot anyhow?
The standard 78 card Tarot deck is built on archetypes and moments. Points on life’s journey. Recognizable characters you can relate to. There’s a Major Arcana storyline, and Minor Arcana storylines within four suits (also called the four “gifts”), similar to a deck of playing cards.
The cards are full of imagery and ask you to read between the lines. This is the kind of stuff that helps you see situations in a different light. You’ll use the creative part of your brain to relate the card to your situation, and that process unlocks a whole new perspective. Tarot expert Jessica Dore calls this “activating the mythic imagination”.
Like a gripping story, where you allow yourself to engage with a narrative, you can learn a great deal about yourself by using Tarot as a comprehensive tool to connect to your subconscious.
Plus, it’s just FUN.

For small business owners who want some fresh energy for this business. Maybe you’re feeling stuck, stagnant, confused or disheartened. Maybe things are going well and you want some perspective for how to keep that momentum going. Through a series of asking several questions relating to you as a business owner and your business as a whole, along with some questions you bring (whether specific or general), this session will leave you energized, excited and with the potential for a bunch of new ideas to start coming down the pipeline!

My Love for Tarot
For my 23rd birthday, my best friend gave me a Rider Waite Smith Tarot deck. And where I’ve picked up a few different decks through the years, I still use the RWS. They’re the cards we most associate with Tarot.
A few years ago, I began to connect with Tarot a little more deeply. I started to follow the work of Jerico Mandybur, Jessica Dore, Liz Worth, Mary K. Greer and Biddy Tarot. I’ve taken several of the Biddy Tarot courses, a Mary K. Greer workshop, a course with Jessica Dore, a course with Liz Worth and a workshop with world-renowned Tarot expert Rachel Pollack (who recently passed away but leaves an incredible legacy of work). I learned about using tarot in a psychospiritual way - to have a reaction to that a card and learn about myself from the reaction.

The sessions are all done live by Zoom.
Each session will be recorded, and the recording will be available within 48 hours of the reading and online for 7 days after.
